well when is the last time you had a haircut? curly hair has the tendence to be course and dry so flat ironing take out most of the mositure. so i would get your ends trimed about every 4 to 6 weeks and that shoud to wonders. To make you hair look even more smooth use a milky looking pomade at the end it will look like a lotion. if you get a waxing pomade it will just make your hair look greasy. plus a waxy base will weigh your hair down. the pomade will seal the cuticle down. also if you want and even more sleek look try using a shine boost. i would adivse a pump the spray is going to make it look like a big greasy ball if you are not careful. best of look with your bad hair day
your best bet is to go into a salon and tell them what you're looking for. i know it's spendy, but all my products for my hair are bought from the salon, even if it's a cheap one like great clips. my hair is long and i take very good care of it. if your hair is curly you need to take care of it really well. most products can be taken back if you don't like them. i think every salon offers that. i return things all the time!
oo yeah i know what you mean, try L'oreal Heat Seeker, i know exactly what you mean that happens to me to, if i put this on my ends it makes it that pointy straight kind haha. i know what you mean :P.
try using biosilk silk theropy syrum before you straighten. It will help with the damage you are causing your hair by straightening it which is what causes the bushy effect. The kind that makes the end of your hair look like a broom. You should aslo start using silk theropy shampoos and conditioners such as panteen prov shiny and smooth, or thermasilk or the whole biosilk line(that one is a lil more expensive though. I would probly aslo us hot oil treatment until the damage starts to go away aout once a month. (you can buy these at any convinence store by V05) Or a hair mask that helps restore moister. I used to have extremely dry hair from over styling so trust me when I say those methods work. =0)
