What is the best way to clean a titanium hair iron from hair product residue?
Soak the iron part that heats up in a glass with hot water and baking soda for about half an hour. Then take a scrubbing dish pad and rub the rest of the residue off.

Your hair is different from Black peoples' hair, so the only logical thing to do is to take their advise. It doesn't matter whether you like greasy/oil or not, Black people NEED oil on their hair for it to not break off and stay conditioned. Use olive oil, and coconut oil on your kid's hair, aloe vera gel will work nicely as well. Please do not follow your gut instinct and wash your child's hair daily...wash her hair every week and nothing more or less. Black people do not produce as much sebum as White people do, so excesively washing mixed race hair will just dry it out.

Seriously. Haven't you ever heard black girls always saying, ';Uh uh, there ain't no way you'll get me to get my hair wet.'; Don't do it, she'll thank you. It's smart to pay to have her hair put in braids or some such thing, as it makes her hair more manageable and still looks nice. Or better yet, learn to do it yourself, although it's VERY time consuming.
If your child is bi-racial, it is not necessary to wash her hair every day. Once per week is enough to allow the natural oils to build up in her hair. Washing it too often makes the hair dry and itchy.
Try using a little olive oil in the hair. It's a natural moisturizer.
I have long straight brown hair. I know if it look s a little oily you can put a little baby powder in your hand and rub it together so you don't have to much and work it though the roots of your hair. It's only a temp. fix. Just don't use to much or it gets clumped up and nasty.

I wouldnt dye it tbh, your hair will be wrecked. But if you really want to go blonde i have used 'Born Blonde' loads and its good. It also comes with the kit.

nooo, you need to go to a hair salon to do it. you should never do it from buying it in a box and do it yourself because its not going to be blonde, and bleaching it yourself as many times as possible will really make you lose all your hair because youre doing it wrong. the best way to do it is go to the salon. you need to ask for blonde highlights, and what theyll do is give you blonde highlights and it will take a while on the hair because of the dark color and that will strip off the black, then theyre supposed to give you the lightest blonde toner and set that on your hair. and that will give you a light brownbase with blonde highlights. and then after that, whenever you let your hair grow out..usually 2-3 months, you go back for a touch up. basically doing the highlights again but partial this time, and theyll use a different blonde toner, and itll become blonder to achieve a nice blonde.
To be honest, if you're going from one extreme to another (in your case, dark brown to blonde), you should go get a professional to dye your hair for you. Set up an appointment with a hair stylist you like, or if you don't know one, ask a friend for a suggestion. Make sure your hair stylist knows EXACTLY which color you want because they have a tendency to get it wrong. XD
go to a professional hairdresser, it will cost you 拢50+ but would you rather have all of your hair fall out in later life.

- Massaging of the scalp with conditioner to remove dirt is all that is needed. Then rinse and spread conditioner on the outside layer of hair and the hair at the nape of your neck. Gently comb tangles out with your fingers or a wide toothed comb and rinse. It is also important to use gel on sopping wet hair and scrunch the hair. Then let your hair air dry or use a blowdryer with a diffuser.

You need protein not moisture. Your hair is made up of 98% protein and when you bleach it you remove it so now you must replace it. I love Redken Extereme condition and Anti snap is great for preventing breakage. See when you need protein your hair will break. Going to dye my hair a different shade of blonde. Ive recently bleached it... about 6 weeks ago, now I think its to bright and want to tone it down a bit. So I've bought some 'Nice%26amp;Easy' colour blend stuff... what will happen when I put it on bleached hair? my advise to you is to use a semi color.
toning the hair which is what you want to do is adding color to the previous;y bleached or lightened hair. a varity of pastel shades such as beige, silver and rose, are used to produce a subtle effects.
there are many different toners available, the lightest toners can only be used on the lightest bleached hair, if the chosen toner is to light for the hair(hair to dark) it will absorb the toner color.
adding color to color will produce a slightly darker shade of the previous color.
GO FOR A TONER.

Now for the bits that stick out you don't wanna use hairspray cox that makes it go all crusty and dry. The best product I have found is loreal liss control. It's in a small bottle with a pump thing at the top and u only use a small amount each time to really smooth down any sticky out bits and it smells good too! I get this too - I just use a good hairspray. Use one which is only a medium hold so it doesn't look like you have a hairspray helmet, but it holds the hairs to the top of your head and makes your style smooth.
NB: A good trick is to spray the hairspray on your hairbrush, then brush the hair back!

Oh I use Treseme heat protection spray and you put it on before you straighten it and when done your hair is shiny and also if you need more shine they have this de-frizzing spray you can use!

I spray the hairspray onto the iron while it's doing its thing. :) I always get an amazing outcome and super great compliments! Btw- my hair in naturally way straight.

I use cholesterol in my hair, once every 7-14 days and it does WONDERS for my hair. It comes in a big tub, by Queen Helene for only like $3-$4. All you do is wash you hair, and towel dry, then work the cholesterol in and add some warm water, really work it through all the way to the ends. Then, put a plastic shower cap, or conditioning cap on and keep it on for about 30-60 min. Then rinse it all out, make sure you really rinse it out good otherwise it will be left feeling a tad greasy. After you rinse it out it is silky smooth and soooo shiny. It's awesome! And cheap too!!

hi, make sure your hair is clean and dry. make sure u always use a heat protecting cream!!! the best straightening cream is L'oreal hot style Iron Finish its around $25 from a salon but it should last a long time cos u dont need much. if your hair is thick start from the bottom sectioning out fine sections and clipping it up out of the way. start straightening the first bottom section but dont hold the straightener on the hair for too long. work your way up to the top. to help with he frizzie bits use a light serum oil. but not too much, it will make ur hair oily. try not to straighten your hair more than 3 times a week, it will make it dry. good luckWhat kind of hair product do i use when i straighten my hair??

What I do.. deep condition once a week, do NOT blowdry with your head turned upside down.. usually creates more frizz. After its dry, use a straightening cerum, you can usually get them at a local wal-mart or sally's cheap. Don't use too much though. Do sections at a time.

There's only one way to make your hair lighter and that's with color. Anything that you put in your hair that makes it lighter will cause you to have roots. Unless you can find a magic wand (literally) there's a mascara wand that you can buy that COULD possibly give you fake highlights for a day. The only one that I've found to work SOMEWHAT okay is a golden one and that was on dark hair so....????

In some ways they can be the same. I use Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine shampoo and Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine cream conditioner... they keep my hair really soft. And then once my hair's dry, I use Redken stuff (it's in a blue bottle) and it takes away the frizz, keeping your hair extra smooth. And then I straighten my hair which doesn't make my hair look dead, it makes it look really shiny and nice. I hope I helped :)

ok so take a shower (try to use a really strong scented shampoo) and then when you get out of the shower and ur hair is still wet/damp, soak it in vinegar. white vinegar works fine and its really cheap. so soak it, the wrap your head in surran wrap and sleep in it. your hair will still be wet in the morning, and then take out your wrap and let it dry. it wont smell bad when its dry. this works so well, gives you AMAZING hair and its cheap =]
for volume, and thickness, crack an egg on your head in the shower. massage it in, wash it out.

Does anyone know where to get the sun-in hair product for the cheapest price?

Also a litre of shampoo should last you a few months depending on how long your hair is. If you are going to buy salon products buy the big bulk sizes as you will save some money, also considering that those sizes have like 6x more product that you would buy if you just bought a smaller bottle of cheap stuff at the store, if you were to actually do the math they are not as expensive as you think since you are buying several months supply instead of just a month.

Don't listen to the person who said that John Freda crap! All that does is weigh my hair down and make it look greasy. (Yes I used the proper amount!) I have never found a product that controls my frizz and curls in the humidity. However when there is no humidity, I use Str8 (by Rusk) and a flat iron and it stays straight all day. Other people I have talked to have used Bedhead products and seem to like them as well.
I live in humid Bali. I have tried every single product on the market. I must have a thousand dollars invested in straighteners. Don't listen to the person who said that John Freda crap! All that does is weigh my hair down and make it look greasy. (Yes I used the proper amount!) I have never found a product that controls my frizz and curls in the humidity. However when there is no humidity, I use Str8 (by Rusk) and a flat iron and it stays straight all day. Other people I have talked to have used Bedhead products and seem to like them as well.
I live in humid Bali. I have tried every single product on the market. I must have a thousand dollars invested in straighteners. I have spend well over a hundred dollars on a single product claiming it would keep my hair straight in humidity. I have had top professionals guarantee my hair would stay straight when they applied certain straightener products. Not one of them work! If you happen upon a product that works, please let me know. I have long hair, and I wear it up everyday because it is a wild curly frizzy mess in Bali.

The John Frieda products are excellent, my friend has really curly hair and it works great for her. I like the Pantene ';Always Smooth'; shampoos and conditioners. My hair is just a little curly, enough for it to be frizzy as H@#$ when it's humid. Both of these products work great, me and my friend live in Texas and you just can't hardly find a more humid place! So if it works here, it should work anywhere!

I have a product called ';rejuven8 the ends'; it was about $16 from ';Hairhouse Warehouse';. It's a leave in conditioner and it's nice and light so it doesn't make your hair greasy, but it smooths out any dry ends.

I have a product called ';rejuven8 the ends'; it was about $16 from ';Hairhouse Warehouse';. It's a leave in conditioner and it's nice and light so it doesn't make your hair greasy, but it smooths out any dry ends.

What is the best Deep Conditioning hair product?
I have long (mid back) thick, naturally straight hair. I keep up with getting my hair trimmed on a regular basis. I used to dye my hair but i got it dyed back to my natural color in january and haven't had a drop of dye in it since. my hair used to be very shiny and healthy looking. Now it just looks like hay.
i currently use Tresemme shampoo %26amp; conditioner. the cheap stuff does not work for me because my hair is so thick that i can't ever get a comb through it afterwards.
i've tried oil treatments, Aussie 5 Minute Deep conditioning and Panteen Deep conditioning. They didn't seem to do much for my hair. And i do NOT use hair styling products (ex. hairspray, gel)

It's a mens hair line with all different products, but to get the look you want I think you should try the American Crew Forming Cream. It wont leave the greasy shine like the pomade will, and still has a firm hold to hold the style you want. It also smells incredible, like mens cologne.

Hair spray is the lightest of all products. It will give you a good curl while it dries and will not make your hair crunchy. Get an aresol spray, not a pump one. It dries quickly without the crunchyness.
I suggest herbal essences curl boosting mousse. My little sister has pin straight hair and likes it when her hair is scrunched. So I use this on it, and it works great. The curls aren't crunchy and don't feel heavy.

Anyway, products that have the same type of effect and texture as a stylist i would say, spray waxes, easy wash waxes and soft waxes. Not the hard horrible waxes, soft waxes basically, style on wet hair this should give you the styled mousse effect look. Finish with a styling sprits to hold your style in place. Hope this helps if not the easiest thing would be next time you visit your stylist tell her/him what you have just told us she may be able to give you a few pointers of what products you can buy. I live in the UK so i would reccoemend you taking a look at the Nicky Clarke range but im not too sure where you live. 1st way:
When hair is wet (usually when getting out of the shower) bend over so your head is tilted/ upside down and use any type of gel or mousse. (I recommend curling mousse, many brands have this, I use Curly Sexy Hair by Ecoly) Use this mousse to scrunch hair wet hair. Then, use a diffuser (Many blowdryers come with this, or you can use by an attachment; most attachments fit on any blow dryer. Use the diffuser as if it were your hand scrunching your hair. Mainly do this with your head still tilted; you can do this at different angles also.
2nd Way:
Use a hot tool called a Waver. It is similar to a curling iron; however, it is wayyy easier to use! It it also similar to a crimper; however, intstead of the waved peice there are two or three giant barrels. You use it by holding it for a few seconds on sections of your hair. Orrr... before you go to bed at night put your hair into plaits and then in the morning when you take it out your hair will be wavy which is also a nice look. (use spray to keep it in place for the day).
