What hair product works well for straightening hair (that is also fairly inexpensive)?

Aren't there types of hair lotion you can put on to help straighten it? What brands work well? If you can tell me from experience that would be great, so many companies make false promises, I never know what to get...What hair product works well for straightening hair (that is also fairly inexpensive)?
i use a spray for my hair before i straighten it...It's by John Freida...i think it was like 7 bucks from Rite Aid but it works really well and smells great! However, i also used one by tresseme and it worked just as well and it was probably a little bit cheaperWhat hair product works well for straightening hair (that is also fairly inexpensive)?
sunsilk work pretty well and smell good, john frieda and tre semme products work really good too..





as far as prices go you'll be surprised what brands you'll find at the 99 cent store!! i'm always coming up on dove, sunsilk, pantene and other name brands there!!!!
