Natural lemon is a great hair lightener..... dilute lemon juice in water and spray in hair.... also there is a product by bumble and bumble that lightens hair.... go on their website
Not really, the only option I can see is dye, because many products only make your hair darker.
Not really... You could just go get a few highlights that are about the same color as your normal ones to make them stand out more.
To go lighter you should really have it done professionally or you run the risk of ending up with orange hair. I had two friends spray something in their hair then they sat out in the sun, it was supposed to give them highlights, but they ended up with horrible orange hair.
There's only one way to make your hair lighter and that's with color. Anything that you put in your hair that makes it lighter will cause you to have roots. Unless you can find a magic wand (literally) there's a mascara wand that you can buy that COULD possibly give you fake highlights for a day. The only one that I've found to work SOMEWHAT okay is a golden one and that was on dark hair so....????

No matter what you do...swim..ther's chlorine which is a bleach which will lighten but it's still a chemical...lemon juice...will work if you put it on and sit in the sun DO NOT DO THIS!! This is the acid from the lemon juice at owrk..YIKES!! So really, it's all about chemical reaction and they're all going to cause you roots. There's nothing wrong with having a stylist add some subtle hightlights into your hair. It doesn't mean they have to use bleach..in fact, if your already light, there's no need to.

Hope you found the answer you were looking for!!
