I've got pretty thick, straight hair but what can I use to make it really sleek and shiny, and to flatten down all those little stray ends that stick out? The best I've found so far is Tigi Shine Junkie but is there anything better? What is the best hair product for getting really sleek, shiny straight hair?
It starts with your haircut: DON'T GET IT LAYERED. It will only make your hair look more volume-full. Also, get it cut often to prevent split ends or frizziness.
For products to help your hair, try Pantene Smooth %26amp; Sleek shampoo/conditioner with their Get It Straight Smoothing Mousse, or try the Garnier Fructis products.
Anti-Frizz balms are out there too. What is the best hair product for getting really sleek, shiny straight hair?
I have the same hair type and I use citrashine spray laminator and they also make a pomade gloss, they both work really well but dont use too much or your hair will look greasy, a lil goes a long way
Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Serum, to blow dry into the hair. My wife's a top hairdresser and swears by it.
use charles worthington shampoo %26amp; condtioner and then use loreal paris studio line products

Trial and error. Each product works different on each person. Just have in mind how much you have to spend and go do some shopping in the shampoo, conditions, gel, etc. departments. Read the labels carefully until you find your unique combination.
I always use Sunsilk shampoo and Herbel and Essences conditioner cos it works just like a charm...
the best thing to use is TRESemme heat protection spray...spray it on before drying and than straighten your hair...makes it really shiny...or leave your conditioner in over night..
a wig
The absolute best is a product called Silk Drops from FX Special Effects. Its an awesome silk serum that will give you the results you're looking for. You can get it at any Walgreens, CVS, and I think Wal-Mart also carries it. You'll love it!
