No!! Over the counter hair products build up on your hair leading to breakage, dryness and frizz. Spend the extra few bucks at the salon and get something that will actually help your hair. Professional products are super concentrated. You can use way less and the cost will even out. Hope you take my advice. Control Freak by Bedhead(Tigi) works great to control frizz. Get the styling aids too. They will help a ton!!

The reason you are not finding something that actually works is cuz you are looking at walmart. Only salon brands work. So if you want something that will define your curls and reduce frizz I recommend Redkens whole fresh curls line. the shampoo is a gentle cleanser, the conditioner tames frizz and detangle's great. As for styling products Redken fresh curls has a spring mousse that is not hard and crunchy and then you can use the scrunching spray which helps define and moisturize. Hope That helps. yes i use TRESemme. it really works and it makes your hair smooth and frizz free. it tells you how to use it and tell you how much to use every time. =]
