What hair product best fights humidity?

I striaghten my hair almost every day. But after 20 minutes of being outside my hair is wavy again. What is a good hair product that can help this problem? What hair product best fights humidity?
I use John Freida frizz control. What hair product best fights humidity?
Mixed Chicks...look them up on the net... great stuff. Use it two ways:

1. for a curly look apply their leave-in to clean wet hair and air dry.

2. for straight looks shampoo, rinse, deep condition, rinse, dry then apply leave-in to the tips and do your heat work.

Good luck
depends on your hair type but tou want a product that will hold. products with alcohol usually work well but will dry your hair, leaving it brittle, weak and susceptible to heat damage from the sun.

try to find a h olding product that has alcohol in it with a sunscreen. there are a few-look for something from your favorite brand of products. go to their website and ask for ideas

i hope this helps
You could just let your hair be wavy.
';It's not in the product. It's in the equipment.';

Ok, I have some excellent hair product recommendations for you but let me just first tell you that if you have the right type of hair dryer and the right type of flat iron, you will save yourself from needing to use as much product and your hair will be straighter and smoother.

1. You want a tourmaline powered hair dryer that will smooth the hair without taking away the moisture.

These dryers are top of the line right now and not only do they work super fast, they leave your hair beautiful, silky, smooth and 100% frizz free.

I recommend the T3 Bespoke Labs dryers that they sell at Sephora. (pretty pricey, but worth it to invest in a beautiful machine for your hair)

2. The Flat - Iron

Nothing works better than the CHI.

If you have an excellent flat iron, it will lock in the hair into the straight look.

Ok so now to answer your question (and this is coming from the queen of straightening her hair every day and having the craziest thick curly frizzy hair mankind has ever seen)

just bear with me, these products are pricey but they WORK

1. Tigi S-Factor -- Smoothing Lusterizer

Don't want frizz? Then this is your solution. Apply to wet hair and then blow dry and your hair pretty much will already be silky smooth and perfect.

2. Phyto Organics Humectin (extreme moisture conditioner) by Nexxus

You only need a bean size of this and it will hydrate the ends of your hair so that they don't look frizzy or dry and at the same time it restores proteins to the hair that are been stripped from the flat ironing.

3. Aveda Brilliance gloss drops (serum)

John Freida might be ok for a little drive down the street. But nothing is more powerful and more effective than Aveda's anti-frizz gloss drops. This stuff locks it in ALL DAY (even the next day, if you don't wash your hair every day, which you shouldn't, this stuff keeps the frizz down completely the first time you put it in until the next time you wash your hair)

So there you have it, those are basically my hair treasures that work like charms for me. And I've tried just about everything in the book.

If you want the look, invest in buying some really nice products and don't forget to have the right tools too!!

Good luck!
None! Humidity is really terrible! I fight the same problem here in Texas. I have had more luck though with Proc!aim Glossing Polish. I get it at Sally Beauty Supply. Here it is about $5.49 for the public to purchase.
Try a serum to seal hair (John Frieda Frizz Ease, Biosilk Silk Therapy, or Matrix Sleek Look Step 4 all are good).

Your best bet comes in the products you use before you straighten though. Try Matrix Sleek Look Shampoo and conditioner or Loreal Smooth Vive. After drying with a blow dryer, spray in a thermal protectant like tresemme heat tamer or matrix iron smoother. Then straighten hair on a high temp (350 or higher). Straightening at this temp will straighten hair all the way through to the core, not just the surface, which keeps hair straighter longer. If you are using a drugstore iron, consider investing in a better iron like a CHI or Sedu. They have infrared heat and ions that battle humidity and frizz.

If none of this works, just accept your hair for what it is. Wavy hair is in style now.
