when i air dry it, it always gets puffy and my waves turn to frizz/poof. what product or shampoo/conditioner should i use? What hair product is best if i want it to air dry naturally?
Use a moisturizing shampoo such as Dove, Jason, or Garnier for dry hair. You could use a conditioner by the same brands as well. However, I would suggest oiling your hair instead because conditioners often coat your hair with silicone and leave a gummy residue. I love using Dabur Jasmine hair oil, which can be found at almost any Indian grocer, but olive and coconut oil work as well. I suggest leaving the oil in for an hour before washing it. Then you can gradually work up the time you let it sit next time.
After drying, try using a paddle brush will bristles (not will the plastic thingies on the ends) to brush, it will help smooth your hair. If you must, use an anti frizz serum.
Another option is to allow your hair to air dry until its just slightly damp, and then blow dry on the cool setting, then it won't harm your hair as much.
