What hair product should i use to achieve messy hairstyle?

I have short-medium length hair right now and i am looking to get the messy look, but do not want the clumped or wet/gelled look on my hair. What hair product is best at achieving this?

I have the best product for you. Use ';Got to be Glued';. The one in the yellow bottle. This is the very best product for hair that I've found yet, and I've used them all from designer to the off the shelf. This product is very thick, but add just alittle water and it will mix very nicely in your hair. The more water, the more natural look you will have. The less, the more stiff look you will have. This product doesn't at all flake or even delude in the rain. If it gets wet in the rain, you can sporadically put it just the way you want it. It's just alittle shiny to for that fashion look. i find the texurizing wax from pantene works really good for stuff like that.
