I have quite long hair and when I wash it goes really dry for about 2 days. I use a moisturising conditioner but that doesn't make a great deal of difference. Can anyone recommend something I could use after (or during) washing it, to make it more sleek? Can you recommend a hair product for dry hair?
I had the same problem, but what I used was shampoo and conditioner from bath and body works made from natural fruit extracts and oils and now my hair is so sleek and moist. Nothing else seem to work for me and this product was affordable and also natural. Also you should maybe hot oil it every couple of weeks for smoothness. Can you recommend a hair product for dry hair?
The Conditioner (paul mitchell)
Most salons will sell this
head and shoulders for dry hair, its wonderful did mine a charm
Joico K-pak conditioner is the best. It can be used daily or as a deep conditioning hair mask.
Kiehl's Silk Groom is also very good. A little goes a long way %26amp; it prevents frizz.
Henna wax. It worked wonders for me when I had long hair. Wash your hair and put it on. Wrap a hot damp towel round your head and treat yourself to a bath for 20 mins. If you use a gym, shower and wash hair, put the henna wax on and put the hot damp towel round your head and go into the sauna.
After 20/30 mins wash wax off. Dry in the normal way.
Hi! I also have a similar problem.
I recently bought the 'new sensations TIMOTEI mild shampoo'.
Its made from Bamboo and shea butter and its for mid to long length hair. I have to say it smells great and my hair is soooo smooth and soft after washing. Definatly no dryness!
You can also get a bamboo and shea butter conditioner.

Great range of products for dry hair, really good conditioning! x
You can get a leave-in conditioner which you just spray onto dry hair. But better still, once a week you could heat (to room temperature) some almond oil and massage it into your scalp. Leave it on overnight and rinse thoroughly the next day. It can be difficult to get out so it might need 2 shampoos but it's wonderful for dry hair. It's available in little bottles in any pharmacy. Also in winter time, I find the heating at home makes my scalp dry and itchy. Good luck!
I use Pantene Pro-V. Their products are really good and leave your hair feeling like silk.
Hope this helps.
I have the same problem, the best thing I have found ( and I have spent a small fortune to get to this point) is TIGI shampoo and conditioner in honey %26amp; oatmeal. I use the shampoo and conditioner on a regular basis and leaves my hair feeling really soft and healthy. When im in need for an extra boost and my hair is really dry I apply the conditioner to damp hair and then tie it up and leave on over nite - it works as a treatment and my hair has never been in better condition
Kerastase!
