What is the best hair product to keep dreadlocks soft & natural looking?

I have very long thick dreads. I shampoo %26amp; condition them once a month some more often ';if'; needed. But it takes them two to three days to competely dry. I was wondering if there's a product that I could use that would make them look shinner and a bit more softer looking? Currently I'm using African Black Soap Liquid Shampoo\w Shea Butter %26amp;Olive Oil for sheen. What is the best hair product to keep dreadlocks soft %26amp; natural looking?

hi, i used to have dreads that were down to my butt and yes it took forever for them to dry!

the last thing that i remember using was knotty boy products, they use natural ingredients.

um i think that they have some pomade type stuff for shine. well actually its the dread wax, it keep ur hair healthy and soft. it prevents breakage and brittleness.

for the drying bit, have u tried one of those towels that soak up exess water from hair and cuts drying time in half? it one of those as seen on tv things

i would take my dreads in sections and sqeeze in a towel, i would swing them and water would come out, i'd use a blow dryers and i would sit under a hairdryer too.

and my fatty fat dread seemed like it took years to dry.

dreads are beautiful but they are very high maintaince, im kinda happy that i grew my hair out.

i do miss them though.
