What is a good affective hair product for dead ends?

I straighten my hair almost everyday, and since I've been using this new powerful straighter my hair has been getting a lot of split ends. So what would you recommend to fix them or make my hair more healthy? Preferably something that you have tried and it works. Thanks in advance. What is a good affective hair product for dead ends?
get your hair trimmed first, then always use a thermal protective spray..i recommend either Chi Shine On Thermal Spray or Aquage Thermal Spray...itll protect your hair from heat and seal the dead ends. But deep condition once a week and I recommend Ego Boost by BedHead..its a leave in conditioner and split end mender.. i use it every time i wash my hair and since i use a flat iron, i use thermal spray. Even my boyfriend (who never notices anything) noticed my hair was smoother and not so frizzy, so these products have worked wonders for me.What is a good affective hair product for dead ends?
I can totally relate.

First, you have to start with a good straightening shampoo and conditioner. Something without sulfates. Like Naked Naturals.

Then, try using an olive oil based hair serum, like Proclaim Professional care glossing polish. You can find this at Wal Mart, longs drugs. Usually in the ethnic hair care section, but its NOT just for African Americans.

Shampoo and condition, then add (glossing polish) about a size of dime in the palm of your hands, rub your hands together to distribute, then dry your hair. When hair is FULLY dry, then flat iron your hair. The problem is many go over their hair too many times, causing un~necessary damage to the ends. If you find you are going over your hair more than once, I suggest a wider flat iron. Be sure to use the proper heat setting. Some use the setting too high, and literally FRY their hair.

Section the hair you are going to straighten with big claw clips, and straighten one section at a time, starting at the bottom part, and work your way up!

After you are done, add just a TOUCH more of the glossing serum to the ends to keep the fly aways down and your hair looking AWESOME and healthy.

I am 44 and my hair looks better now after trial and error, than it ever has!!

BTW, get your ends just TRIMMED every six to eight weeks. I mean, JUST TRIMMED if you want to grow you hair out long.

Good luck!
def. get a trim, and start using heat protect product to help prevent future split ends and breakage. scissors the only way to make them go away.

when you are done straightening use biosilk to smooth the ends down.i dont even use the real bio silk; i use a a copy cat from sally's and my hair always looks really good when i use it. and my hair is probably WAY more damaged than yours :)

also, try straightening your hair every other day.
all u can do is trim off those split ends. i know, my mom is a hair-dresser.
a good trim and a heat protectant daily. straightening your hair alot is not healthy for it
There's only one thing that works on split ends: Scissors
