does anyone know a good product? preferably a spray?

thaaanks. What is a good hair product that repairs hair and makes it sleeker and shinier?
Trim at least an inch the split ends will travel up your hair strand splitting as it goes. You naturally lose 75-150 strands of hair per month. Hair grows an average of 1/2 inch per month. Warmer months more, cooler less. Age - younger grows faster, older slower. Take into account genetics, hormones, stress, diet, medication, damage to hair. Use good products not Pantene, Herbal Essence %26amp; Garnier they are silicone products. They make you hair nice at first but as the silicone builds up it locks out moisture your hair weakens %26amp; breaks. Use pro products they last longer because you use less so the extra expense is worth it. The shampoos don't contain a detergent lathering agent so it's weird at first because you are used to lather. Great specialty products are, Nioxxin, Joico K-Pak Reconstructor also Silk Results, Rusk has New Pro Elements Keratin. Big Sexy has good general products. Take Biotin %26amp; Vitamin E check it out on WebMD %26amp; Google. Don't use ';box color'; it's unpredictable %26amp; contains metallics that can leave permanent lines in your hair if you change color products. Go to Sally's Beauty Supply they have more professional products %26amp; they can assist you in your purchase %26amp; the prices are better. What is a good hair product that repairs hair and makes it sleeker and shinier?
I color my hair and I find the BEST thing to do is to make a homemade hair mask and use it once a week. It makes my hair SUPER shiny and very strong yet soft. It repairs is beautifully.
This is the recipe:
1/2 cup of regular mayo (not Miracle Whip or salad cream)
1 egg
Mix together and apply to dry hair, massaging it into the ends and working it all the way through. Pile hair on top of your head, then wrap it with plastic wrap to keep the heat in. Let it stay on your hair for as long as possible-- an hour is good if you have time. (I've left it on for 3-4 hours when I was home doing nothing.) Then wash it out with shampoo, and condition as usual.
This is one of the best things I've ever used, and I've tried just about everything, since I'm always coloring my hair, blow-drying it,styling, using hot rollers, etc. etc. It's especially good for blond hair too.
That's what I would like to know!
My hair is damaged from blowdrying, which causes more damage than straightening so I know how you feel. I use a STRAIGHTENER now INSTEAD of a blow dryer for 45- to 1 hour, and just blow-dry for 10 min and on to a straightener. My hair is really damaged. No easy feat for a girl who was known for her strong, healthy hair!
For damage, I would suggest, a syrum. I use k-pak. I use a leave in conditioner called color thrive by tresemme, I use herbal essences long term relationship for split ends and I really feel that stuff working, then I use a heat protectant spray, and then maybe a little bit of salon selectives moose and that is all BEFORE I blow dry.
I am so excited that my routine is so much shorter and I can just blow dry and straighten. I have my straightener heat up for 20 min..and to straighten, I just use a heat protectant spray. All products I use are SMALL portions and I try to never use even a little too much but just the right small amount, and my hair is improving.
You need to use a good shampoo and conditioner. I don't have it now because I cannot afford it but I Really suggest Kpak daily conditioner and a k-pak deep conditioner once-twice a week. Any shampoo suiting your hair type would do.
Hope I could help. Good Luck. BTW, know of some good straighteners that cut the damage down?
i say garnier fructise products or tresseme. I had damaged hair from straightening and washed my hair with the growth and repair over damaged hair shampoo and it helps a lot. I would advise that before you straighten your hair that your put heat protectent spray on it, it just reduces the damage:))
well I use Vive Pro hydra gloss shampoo and conditioner
i flat iron my hair everyday and my hair is still shiny and healthy
its not what you want to hear but the only cure is a hair cut unfortunately. :(
Dying it would only make it worse.
