Whats the best hair product to use to achieve the faux hawk hairstyle?

I want it to look natural, not shiny and greasy. Gels don't work for me.





i was thinking about mousse or however you spell it, ha.

Use Garnier Fructis hair styling products great, great smell, easy to re- work everthing! If you have a hair iron it would be easy to pull up, however if you do not wash, then put a small amount off gel just to hold and blowdry with a big, and I mean big, flat brush and push toward the middle and up, then use pomade or wax to hold then hair spray,....
My boyfriend uses hair wax on his faux hawk. It holds it really well. And its not shiny or curls back up like gel.
