That will keep your hair healthy and also do its job?

Yes - but I cannot remember the few I found other than 1 made by AVEDA. BUT I leave you with a guide to live by in your search that will prove to be challenging .



OK- FIRST OFF - ONE MUST DEFINE GOOD %26amp; BAD -

Ever go somewhere tropical %26amp; after just a couple days your

hair %26amp; skin feel so different? So good? moisture = high relative huidiy = good. Now Hair, skin, %26amp; nails are almost completely alike on the cellular level. So what is good for 1 applies to the others as well - generally speaking. So yes, hand lotions can be %26amp; often are much better for your hair - but may lack the desired ';hold'; effect unless you just want to flatten it to your skull ;]



--%26gt; So drying would be bad -%26gt; hence things like alcohols peroxides etc... = bad. Also more hold = yes ';more bad'; BTW-Bleach also in particular is horrible no matter what anyone tells you!



but the #1 bad ingredient that most stylist aren't aware of that I swear is found in like 95% of all the products I have looked at is

DIMETHYL SILICONE or some variant........ just look for the word silicone which you guessed it = dries hair which = bad!



If you have trouble avoiding these 2 bad things then remember that ingredients are listed according to their weight or relative concentrations --%26gt; so ie. the further down on the list, the better.



One could argue that titanium dioxide = (white powder found in most make-ups %26amp; lotions %26amp; sun blocks) helps block UV rays, but unless your a lifeguard or something I don't see any substantial help here.

Go into a hair salon or a hair supply shop and ask someone there for the best type of product for your hair or the next time you get your hair cut ask your hair dresser. Dont use products from a local super market because they are all bad for your hair.
