What hair product to use to give my silky hair a wet look and keep them from flying all around in the wind?

I have seen guys using some hair product which gives their hair a wet look and they comb or brush them back. I do not want to use gels as they make the hair feel like plastic and they start falling as well. So, let me know what hair product I Can use. Would appreicate an advise.
